Inspirations Studio is Now a Program of YWCA Toronto!
We are delighted to announce that – as of July 1, 2022 – Inspirations Studio has become a program of
YWCA Toronto!
What a Journey!
The last five years have been precarious. The Studio lost funding, lost its partner, closed for a period, moved, and was disrupted many times over due to the pandemic. This rollercoaster has been challenging for everyone, especially for the scores of women who have come to depend on the Studio for community, a creative outlet and supplemental income.
The Studio has persevered into its 28th year, only because of the generosity of our community and our amazing supporters. Thank you to everyone who was part of the Studio’s success and helped bring us to this milestone!

New Stability, and Still, We Need Our Supporters!
We are just thrilled that YWCA Toronto is now part of our loving community. Joining YWCA Toronto comes with a newfound degree of stability and an institutional alignment, which makes our hearts sing. The Studio already benefits from the big, beautiful YWCA-owned shopfront and studio space. In this partnership, we will also draw from YWCA Toronto’s nearly 150 years of experience delivering services to women, outstanding administrative support, and a partner committed to finding solutions for the longevity of the program. All of this will help us focus on supporting studio members. Despite this amazing new support, it will not bring core funding. Our search for operating funds continues, and, we are asking our supporters to stick with us as we take this big step towards a more stable future. Donations for Inspirations Studio, now accepted through YWCA Toronto, continue to go directly to running Inspirations Studio and supporting our members. Please continue to support the Studio and consider becoming a monthly donor.
